A Message from OTC's CEO Dear Friends, I just wanted to extend once again my appreciation to you for your support in our fund raising efforts for the American Diabetes Association’s 2007 Tour de Cure. The ride is over, and with your help, we were able to raise $1,400.00 for this effort. This particular ride was the second for this local chapter. Last year they report having raised $25,000 with 68 riders participating, and this year they really surpassed their goals by raising over $60,000 with 201 riders participating. It really feels good to be part of a record-breaking goal for such a good cause. We were a bit concerned almost up to the day of the ride with the threat of rain, but the day was not only sunny, but hot, windy, and the route was hilly—all things that challenge riders. We completed our commitment, and felt good about doing so. In fact, our cycling team began discussing plans for next year’s ride. Once again, thanks for your support. We appreciate it.
